Centre (WARC) tracking study figures, commissioned by the IAB and
published on 5 April, online advertising topped £653.3 million in
2004, a year-on-year increase of 60 per cent that pushed the market
share to 3.9 per cent. By comparison, radio's market share during the
same period was 3.8%."
